As an offering of Tendril Kinetics, Emily Hodos enjoys working directly with children and adults to provide focused time guiding clients through neuromovement methods to reach specific goals for daily life activities, physical coordination, social development, emotional balance, stress management, cognitive skills and work productivity.

Common goals for clients are strengthening...

Foundation series
5 session over a 2-3 month period each session runs 1 - 1.5 hour
Throughout the series, Tendril Kinetics provides engaging and age-appropriate skills assessments and evaluations, as well as introduces a wide range of movement techniques to strengthen targeted skills and goals. In addition, Tendril Kinetics supports clients in building a regular home-based practice of neuromovement activities.

Follow-up sessions
At the conclusion of the Foundations Series, clients determine the interest in any future sessions on a periodic or regular basis. With the Foundation Series completed, it is most common for clients to request sessions on a periodic basis to assess progress, refine techniques, introduce more movement activities, provide support for maintaining routine, or work on specific goals.

Important Information:
For those who depend upon caregiver support, sessions include both the client and caregiver
Because some of the neuromovement activities require assistance, even those clients who are fully independent benefit from having an additional support person as part of or following each session.

Here’s what one parent client has to say...
“After meeting with various medical professionals, we were still struggling to find answers to some of our child’s developmental delays. In our first meeting with Emily, she explained the ‘Foundation Skills’ for learning and how missing even a few early milestones can have a ripple effect as a child grows both physically and cognitively. It was as if something clicked, and her approach explained so much for us as parents. She introduced neurodevelopmental movements that were aimed at helping our daughter fill specific gaps and provide more strength and focus moving forward. Emily immediately connected with our daughter, adapting to her behaviors and needs. We felt she truly understood (and cared about) our concerns.,, and we saw quick progress in several areas. We respect Emily’s professionalism, yet appreciate her comfortable and accessible demeanor. Working with her has been a wonderful experience, and we’ll carry many of her recommendations with us for years to come!”
